About Department
The Department of psychology is one of the newest department of the college, Established in 2019. It was under the leadership of Dr. Sushmita Upadhyay The department marched ahead with its scientific temperament and in the days to came the department assimilated the contemporary with the traditional knowledge initially the areas of social psychology, experimental psychology, Psychological testing,
Personality psychology, Abnormal psychology came to the fore and during the course of time new areas of humanistic psychology, as Positive psychology, Community and Health psychology, Counciling psychology also got incorporated into the curriculum. The research profile of the department is quite impressive. Academic celebrations on key issues are held regularly. Lectures, Talk and workshops are organised to disseminate and exchange information.
