College Code of Conduct

The following conduct, which is applicable to all facets of our organization, is something we as members of Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate College in Gorakhpur are committed to demonstrate via our behaviour and activities.

  • Act in a respectful, polite, and moral manner with students, their families, and other staff members.
  • Pay attention to what students have to say and address their worries, especially if they express themselves (verbally or with their body language) if they feel unwell or unsafe.
  • Promote the safety, well-being, and respect for human rights of all students at Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate College.
  • Demonstrate appropriate personal and professional boundaries.
  • Take into account and respect the varied origins and requirements of students.
  • Establish an environment that encourages and facilitates students’ engagement that is friendly, culturally safe, and inclusive of all students.
  • Notify to the Principal of any objectively observed behaviour that violates or is suspected of violating this Code (apart from those that are subject to obligatory reporting duties).
  • Whenever feasible, involve students while decisions regarding their activities, regulations, and procedures.
  • Students must follow proper dress code of college.
