Department of Mathematics

The department has had an illustrious faculty since its origination and we are proud that the custom still continues. The teachers of the department adopt various teaching tools to make teaching learning more effective. Tutorial classes are scheduled for paper so that student can discuss their problems related to the subject with the teacher. Class test, presentation, assignments and viva-voice are being conducted regularly for continuous assessment of the students. The department of mathematics has always been devoted to the students and their to fulfill their dreams in life. For the accomplishment of these goals, the department tries to put its best foot forward to make the students realize their dreams. The faculty is dynamic in adopting the new emerging teaching methods such as introduction to various software like matlab, r- programming etc in order to give the students better clarity of abstract concept of the subject. The department regularly organizes activities like talks, seminars, quiz competition, and poster competition to give the students exposure to new research areas begin explored throughout the world. Over the years the department of mathematics has produced a large number of dedicate scientist, teachers and those who have exceed in the other aesthete department of mathematics has an active mathematical society which organised lecture by distinguished academician and scientist currently department offers course for three year under graduate program and two year post graduate program and Ph.D Program in mathematics under the headship Prof. (Dr.) Umesh Kumar Gupta. We are committed to fostering success to our student. At present the department has seven committed teaching faculty members, all of them are with doctoral degree and one member on its non teaching staff.
